The PNPI Explorer

Welcome to the PNPI Explorer, a tool that allows users to examine how a given state, congressional district, or territory intersects with over 80 higher education variables, measure data against state and national averages, and see how variables have changed at the district, state, and national level over time.

How do you start? First, choose the geographic area you are interested in—a congressional district, a state, a territory, or the nation. Second, choose between a pre-populated Curated Report or build a Custom Report of your own. Third, drill down into the data of your choosing. For a tutorial on Curated Reports, click here. For a tutorial on how to build a Custom Report, click here.

For optimal performance, the PNPI Explorer is best viewed on a desktop or laptop.

Step 1:

Choose the state, congressional district, or territory you’d like to explore (U.S. Census Bureau’s My Congressional District Finder).

Step 2:

Choose a pre-populated Curated Report or build a Custom Report of your own.
