Samantha Valle is a Master of Public Policy student at the University of Connecticut. As a first-generation college graduate, she is invested in increasing accessibility to first-generation and low-income students navigating their college careers. Her policy interests also center on gender-based violence prevention and survivor support in higher education. Originally from Waterbury, Connecticut, Samantha earned her bachelor’s degree from UConn in political science and women’s, gender, and sexuality studies.
