PNPI Announces Emerging Leaders Development Program (ELDP) Cohort

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, the Postsecondary National Policy Institute (PNPI) in Washington D.C. announced their 2021 Emerging Leaders Development Program (ELDP) cohort. The ELDP is a virtual professional development opportunity for emerging leaders in the federal education policy space. Premised on the belief that leadership can be developed, strong leaders impact organizational health, and strong sectors are led by strong organizations, it was created to increase the strength of organizations in the federal education policy space by building the capacity of their emerging leaders. 

“It is an honor to be given the opportunity to strengthen the field through our work with this impressive and dedicated group of leaders,” said MaryEllen McGuire, PNPI’s president and the founder of the initiative. “We were humbled by the number and quality of individuals who applied to be a part of the program.” 

Selected through a highly competitive application process, this year’s cohort consists of ten individuals representing a wide range of organizations across the federal education policy sector. This year’s participants are:
