Join PNPI for our first briefings of 2025! Across two days and four sessions, we’ll explore the ins and outs of the federal budget and appropriations process.
These briefings will expand your knowledge of:
- The federal budget process, including the roles played by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and the Congressional Budget Office (CBO)
- The Congressional appropriations process
- How Pell Grants are paid for, including the difference between mandatory and discretionary funding and the history of shortfalls and surpluses
Participants may register for sessions individually. Those who attend all four Zoom sessions will earn a digital badge.
