Aalyhia Shillow

Aalyhia “Lyhia” Shillow is the Operations Associate for PNPI where she oversees logistics and provides administrative support. She is a Texas native who was born and raised in Dallas. She received her bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of North Texas before moving to Washington D.C. as a 2023 PNPI Summer Scholar. Lyhia currently attends Howard University where she is working towards attaining her Masters in Political Science with a focus in Black Politics and Policy. Aalyhia’s “why” for doing policy work is based on her love for her community, her family, and her commitment to being a lifelong learner.
