Aalyhia “Lyhia” Shillow is the operations associate for the Postsecondary National Policy Institute (PNPI), where she manages logistics and provides administrative support. A proud Dallas, Texas, native, Lyhia earned her bachelor’s degree in education from the University of North Texas. In 2023, she joined PNPI as a Summer Scholar and relocated to Washington, D.C.
Currently, Lyhia is pursuing a master’s degree in political science at Howard University, focusing on Black politics and American government. Her passion for policy work is deeply rooted in her faith, which emphasizes the principle of loving your neighbor as yourself.
