FSA Boot Camp Scholarships

To ensure that cost does not preclude students from attending, PNPI will offer up to 5 scholarships covering the cost of attendance (registration fee, travel to Washington D.C. and lodging) to undergraduate upperclassmen (rising seniors or graduated seniors) or graduate students wishing to participate . Scholarship applicants are limited to students who currently receive a Pell Grant or can demonstrate that they are Pell-eligible (more below).  Travel and lodging will only be offered to students who live outside of the Washington metro area (defined as 10 or more miles from the conference site).

Eligibility Requirements:

Must be enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university as an undergraduate upperclassman (rising senior or graduated senior) or graduate student at time of registration. Proof of enrollment required (recent transcript).

  • Must demonstrate financial need. Undergraduate students must have received a Pell grant in the most recent academic year. Graduate students must demonstrate Pell-eligibility for the most recent academic year through a documented estimated family contribution of less than $5,198 on your Student Aid Report (SAR) from the U.S. Department of Education.
  • All majors/fields of study accepted, but candidates must demonstrate an interest in postsecondary education policy or practice.
  • Must commit to attending the entire seminar including a networking dinner on Wednesday, August 3rd with other scholarship recipients.
