Rory O’Sullivan

Rory O’Sullivan is an independent policy and philanthropic consultant. As a law student, he cofounded Young Invincibles, a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding opportunities for individuals under 35, and played a pivotal role in its growth into a national advocacy group. He later joined the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, leading their national higher education policy portfolio. 

Rory has served on the boards of both the National Skills Coalition and the Campaign for College Opportunity. With extensive experience in strategic planning, nonprofit management, advocacy strategy, fundraising, and policy analysis, his expertise in higher education and workforce policy has been featured in outlets such as the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and NPR. He earned a B.A. in philosophy, politics, and economics from Pomona College in 2006 and completed a joint J.D./M.P.P. at Georgetown University in 2011.
