Stacey Speller

Stacey Speller is a Ph.D. student in the Higher Education Leadership & Policy Studies (HELPS) program at Howard University. As a student, she focuses her research on understanding and advocating for Historically Black Hispanic-serving Institutions (HB-HSIs) and their organizational identity. She brings over a decade of rich experience in various facets of higher education, including admissions, retention and student success, student activities, athletics, and diversity and community engagement. Stacey holds a master’s degree in transformative leadership and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Bethune-Cookman University.
